David Wilson is a Program Manager and certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with over 30 years experience in private industry in Information Technology and business operations. David first moved to North Carolina out of college, joining IBM in the Research Triangle Park as a programmer. In addition to a career of 16 years with IBM, he worked for other Fortune 500 companies in roles ranging from VP of IT to consultant and Project Manager. David holds an MBA from the University of Notre Dame and a BS in Computer Science from Michigan State University. His leisure interests and hobbies include golf, volunteering for the Carolinas Golf Association and woodworking.
A lifetime Republican who first voted for Ronald Reagan in the 1976 primary, David believes an aggressive grassroots approach is critical to moving the Party in the right direction. Having recently volunteered as Chair of his local precinct he further desires to take his background and experience to help the MeckGOP achieve their goals.
