To:       All Members of the Mecklenburg County Republican Party Executive Committee and All Precinct Officers

In accordance with Article II of the Mecklenburg County Republican Party Plan of Organization (the “Plan of Organization”), notice is hereby given that Precinct Meetings shall be held at the following location for all precincts:
            Date:                Saturday, February 1, 2020
            Time:               10:00-11:30 A.M.   

Registration begins at 9:00 A.M. and closes at 9:45 A.M
             Place:               Myers Park High School Campus Cafeteria
                                      2400 Colony Road, Charlotte, NC 28209
Pursuant to Article II of the Plan of Organization, the purpose of this joint gathering of our Precinct Meetings will be to:

  1. Elect Delegates and Alternates to the MeckGOP County Convention;
  2. Nominate Delegates and Alternates to the 9th and 12th District Conventions 
  3. Nominate Delegates and Alternates to the NCGOP Convention

If you or any potential Republican volunteer is unable to attend the Precinct Meeting, you can submit an Absentee Letter. The attached form must be submitted no later than 6:00pm on January 30, 2020.
Please make every effort to attend this meeting in person. In addition, please invite and bring as many Republican friends and neighbors to join us in continuing to build a Party that will fight for the future of our State and County.

Per the Mecklenburg County Plan of Organization: "The County Chairman shall call such meetings to be held during the month of February or March and shall give at least fifteen (15) days written notice of the time and place of said meetings to all Precinct Chairmen and in a newspaper of general circulation within the county." Notice was posted by newspaper and written notice has been distributed to Precinct Chairmen by mail.
