PRECINCT 2021 Call To Meeting
To: All Members of the Mecklenburg County Republican Party Executive Committee and All Precinct Officers and All on Distribution List

In accordance with Article II of the Mecklenburg County Republican Party Plan of Organization (the “Plan of Organization”,) notice is hereby given that Precinct Meetings shall be held at the following location for all precincts:
Date: Saturday, February 6, 2021
Place: SMS Catering Services
1764 Norland Road, Charlotte, NC 28205 ·
Time: For All Precincts in County Commission District 6
8:30 – 9:00 am Registration (registration will close at 9:00 am sharp) 9:00 am Meeting
For All Precincts in County Commission District 5
10:30 – 11:00 am Registration (registration will close at 11:00 am sharp) 11:00 am Meeting
For All Precincts in County Commission District 2,3,4
12:30 – 1:00pm Registration (registration will close at 1:00 pm sharp) 1:00 pm Meeting
For All Precincts in County Commission District 1
2:30 – 3:00pm Registration (registration will close at 3:00 pm sharp) 3:00 pm Meeting
The Mecklenburg County Republican Party takes COVID-19 seriously and will be taking necessary precautions to ensure a safe event. In the event that Republicans are not comfortable with attending, you are encouraged to submit an absentee form. During the event, we ask that attendees practice social distancing and for the safety of all attendees, each attendee will be required to wear a mask. To ensure compliance of safety protocols, no guests will be allowed to attend the precinct meetings. Only Republicans who are registered in the Mecklenburg County Commission District indicated will be allowed into each meeting.

Pursuant to Article II of the Plan of Organization, the purpose of this joint gathering of our Precinct Meetings will be to: (i) elect Precinct Committees;
(ii) nominate Members for the MeckGOP County Executive Committee;
(iii) elect Delegates and Alternates to the MeckGOP County Convention;
(iv) nominate Delegates and Alternates to the 9th and 12th District Conventions and to the NCGOP Convention.
Please make every effort to attend this meeting in person. In addition, please invite and bring Republican friends and neighbors to join us in continuing to build a Party that will fight for the future of our county and state.
If you or any registered Republican is unable to attend the Precinct Meeting, you may submit a completed Absentee Letter (attached for your convenience) by 6:00pm Thursday, February 4, 2021.
