Apply to serve on the 9th or 12th district executive committee!
As a member of the NCGOP 9th or 12th District Executive Committee, you have a say in how your GOP operates on a Congressional level! The 9th and 12th districts meet at least 4 times a year in rotation locations across the 9th and 12th districts. In addition, you would hold a position on the NCGOP Executive Committee, which meets at least 2 times a year across the state. (The MeckGOP Chair and Vice Chair serve on the 9th and 12th Districts and NCGOP Executive Committees by virtue of their office - see NCGOP Plan of Organization, Article V.)
Per Party rules, the MeckGOP Chairman and Vice Chairman will present their Mecklenburg nominees for the NCGOP 9th and 12th District Executive Committees at its district conventions. Mecklenburg County is allocated 6 members on the 9th District Executive Committee and 15 members on the 12th District Executive Committee.
