District 12 News - Week of June 21, 2021
Dear Friends,
Today is the first day of summer. Time to get lazy, go on vacation, enjoy the sunshine. We can take some time to do those yard and home tasks we have been putting off. Very few worries this time of year. But the reality is, life goes on and there will be plenty to do when we get back to normal. Elected officials are still making life decisions for their constituents. Candidates are still be running for office. Most of us are still screaming at our TV sets.
I often engage in conversation with Republicans who are angry, upset, depressed, and have given up on politics. They complain and accuse the party of not doing enough, not giving enough, not spending enough to get good candidates elected. But when pressed on how they can get involved to make things better, they state that it not their gift, they do not have time, etc. They fail to remember that THEY ARE the party. All leaders in our local party, including myself, are 100% volunteers. We welcome you to help us get Republicans elected.
