District 12 News - Week of June 28, 2021
Dear Friend,
I don’t know about you, but my inbox has been inundated with emails from it seems like every Republican in America. Some are simply calling the Biden administration out for something, many are running for office, and all are asking for money. Today alone, I got 18 from folks like Karl Rove, Rand Paul, Mike Pompeo, Republican Caucuses, and folks running for office in states that I have never been to. Everyone it seems is looking for help.
Personally, I don’t have a problem with all the emails and texts I get as I can choose to delete before I open. But before I do, I read many of them. Our nation changed drastically on January 20, when President Biden started reversing many of the wonderful Trump policies. There is fire in bellies to make a difference, flip the Senate and House in Washington, and get some common sense back in our government.
Our local candidates need you as well. Most don’t have the money to pay for lists of email addresses like the folks sending the ones mentioned above. There will be municipal races right here in District 12 this fall. Although these races are non-partisan, there are many Republicans running in Davidson, Cornelius, Huntersville, Mint Hill as well as Matthews and Pineville in the rest of Mecklenburg County. They will be filing in the next week. Please do your research and consider helping.
