MeckGOP Recognizes Black History Month
Black History Month
- The Republican Party is the Party of freedom and opportunity and elected officials including Senator Tim Scott, Congressman Byron Donalds, Congressman Burgess Owens, Lt. Gov. Winsome Sears, and our very own Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson are thought leaders in our Party.
- North Carolina has a special heritage regarding Black History Month as civil rights leaders like Clarence Henderson, a J. E. Broyhill Award winner, blazed the trail toward equality and continue to embody the Republican principles of individualism that give the American idea its power.
-
Nationwide we currently have a record number of Black Republicans running for office and winning at all levels.

- While Democrats condescend with identity politics, Republicans put Americans First regardless of race.
- All the way back to the Party's founding, it is the principles of individualism that offer the best solutions for overcoming barriers to prosperity and ensuring maximum opportunity for Americans of every race.
