Dale Dalton moved his family to Mint Hill in 2010 after living in the Matthews area for 18 years. His wife Pamela grew up in Mint Hill with her parents, the late Beemer and Linda Brewer. Their daughter Jessica graduated from North Carolina State in 2014 and now resides in Richmond, VA with her husband, Dr. Christopher Collie.

Dale worked in sales in the food brokerages business for 17 years before switching to the construction field in 2000 when he opened his own remodeling company and was a small business owner for nearly a decade. He continues to work with other major construction companies in the area and currently works for Griffin Tile and Marble in Mint Hill.

Dale has a B.S. in Business from Montreat College. Dale is currently serving his second term as a Mint Hill Town Commissioner. Other leadership positions in the community includes serving on the Board of the Mint Hill Historical Society, a past master and active member of the Mint Hill Masonic Lodge and an active member of the Mint Hill Lions Club. He and Pamela have been active members at Hickory Grove Baptist Church for 22 years.
