Linda Sullivan
Headquarters Chairman
Linda is a lifelong conservative Republican. She has served as the MeckGOP Headquarters Chair since February 2019, answering the phone calls, messages and emails, coordinating volunteers for the 2020 election, and volunteering with the Trump campaign. In 2018, she volunteered in the MeckGOP office and with Mark Harris’ campaign. She also assisted with Rob Bryan’s 2010 campaign. She is currently a member of the Uptown Charlotte Republican Women. One of the political highlights of her life was having a private tour of Ronald Reagan’s Western White House, The Reagan Ranch, outside of Santa Barbara, CA.
Linda’s career as a CPA included working for two local CPA firms and five years in Washington, D.C. working for the International Trade Administration of the U.S. Department of Commerce.
She has three grown boys and spent 18 years as a stay-at-home mom. She and her husband of 27 years, Larry, are members of Carmel Baptist Church and live in Dilworth.
One of Linda’s passions is animal rescue. She serves as treasurer, volunteer and board member of Midnight’s Promise Equine Rescue in China Grove, NC. She is also an avid photographer and loves to spend time cooking and traveling. Her dog Sugar is the unofficial MeckGOP HQ mascot.
