Meet Special Events Co-Chair Kyle Kirby

Kyle Kirby is a native Charlottean and grew up in the Windsor Park community. Kyle attended Hickory Grove Christian School in east Charlotte and attended the University of North Carolina at Charlotte where he double majored in History and Political Science. In 2014, Kyle earned his Juris Doctor from the Charlotte School of Law.

During law school, Kyle started a small business in Mint Hill, which he still runs today. In 2019 Kyle started working as a substitute teacher in low-income schools to help give back to the greater Charlotte community. Kyle has also volunteered and donated resources for several community nonprofit organizations. This past summer, Kyle was proud to serve as an Alternate Delegate to the Republican National Convention in Charlotte.

Most recently, Kyle was the Republican nominee for the State House of Representatives, District 102. Kyle’s campaign was strictly positive, based on love and compassion for his fellow neighbors. Although the election was lost to the 20 year incumbent. Kyle’s candidacy received more votes than any other Republican candidate in House District 102 In the last 18 years, proving that loving, compassionate and community based campaigns can bring independent and unaffected voters to the Republican side of the aisle.
