North Carolina Continues to Trend Red

Washington, D.C. – High Point University is out with new polling today, and it’s a lot of bad news for Democrats.

• 63% of North Carolinians believe the country is on the wrong track.
• 35% approve of Joe Biden’s job performance, a number below the national average.
• 27% approve of Congress’ job performance.
• Republicans lead a generic ballot 41%-35% (+6)

If anyone was still wondering why national Democrats have begun to write off North Carolina as a lost cause, here is your answer.

Meanwhile, their Senate nominee, Cheri Beasley, is continuing her lackluster campaign and refusing to answer basic questions about hot-button issues like Title 42.  Not exactly inspiring confidence…
