Update About Upcoming District Conventions
Due to the government mandate about group meetings during the COVID-19 crisis, NCGOP district conventions will be conducted via teleconference.
Registration details and convention specifics have been directly sent to district convention delegates. The 12th District Convention will be held on Thursday, April 23 at 6:30PM. The 9th District Convention will be held on Saturday, April 25 at 5:00PM. You must pre-register to attend either convention and 12th District registration ends at 6:00PM TONIGHT. If you did not receive registration information, please contact [email protected] to be put in contact with your district leadership.
As a reminder, delegates will be passing resolutions and electing RNC delegates and presidential electors. There will NOT be nominations from the floor. If you would like to be considered as a delegate, alternate delegate or replacement alternate from the 9th district, you MUST apply here by 6PM on Monday, April 20. If you would like to be considered as an at-large (statewide) delegate or alternate delegate, you MUST apply here. If you would like to be considered as a presidential elector, you MUST apply here.
The Mecklenburg County Republican Party elected its recommended slate of nominees for the 9th and 12th districts at our county convention on March 7.
